Its sounds like one of three things processor going bad , ram going bad or MB going bad. not hard to fix if you do it before the thing crashes.

Hi. I was buying HP Pavilion slimline 5310sc and want to put a new graphic card in it, to play games. What cards would fit best? Bjarki

Graphics cards are of many companies. For my opinion, Ge-force and N-vidia graphics cards are best. 512 mb graphics cards are well for playing games. As your need of gaming, buy high capacity graphics card as 1 gb or 2 gb.

I have games downloaded on my pc that I got from free game sites. They are legal games that are free because they are sponsored. I would like to take them off of my hard drive and put them on cds to free...

Only if they are designed to be run from CD. Most games are "installed" onto your hard drive and put files all over the drive, not just in their game folder. So copying them from their game folder to a CD may lose support files needed to play. Easiest way to try this out...copy the files to the CD, then delete the files from the hard drive. Then try to play the game. If it won't play, copy the files back to where they were on the hard drive.

We have one cumpter with norton security 2008 which as far as we no can be used up to three other cumpters how do we go about loading the other compters

most of these you can just insert the disc and it allows you to register 3 times with the same code.
Out of interest why are you using norton when there are so many free ones that don't slow down your system as much and work great? example go to www.downloads.com and look at the top 10 downloads you will see AVG free, Avast and a few others that are free.

Where can I put a new graphics card in my computer???

First I want to mention that the Dimension 2400 is not really a pc that's made for playing games. There is no AGP or PCI-express slot on the motherboard, so you'll have to use the (slower) PCI slot.
How to put your card in your computer is explained on this page of the Dell support website.
If you need help with finding a card, just ask me.

Good Luck

Video output

What game are you trying to play?, You could have a look at the games system requirements, it should tell you what video card is best suited for the game.
