One leg on my GB1140 tripod recently broke, but the rest of the tripod is intact. I can see that if I have a replacement leg, I can unscrew out the remnants of the broken leg and screw in the new one.
But is it possible to buy a replacement leg? Seems awfully wasteful to buy a whole new one for this kind of problem.

ApprenticeI would contact the factory and see if they have replacement part available. Try their website and ask. Most large retail manufactures have parts avaiable.
