Question about Philips Audio Players & Recorders

Blinking light Hi, I am the proud owner of an MX 931 Audio Home Theater. It works great but I have a blinking light that's REALLY puzzling me! It is on the volume control knob. I have turned the receiver off and on, checked that a sleep feature isn't activated, etc. I'm sure there is a simple answer to this problem and I hope some old geezer there can help! Thanks, AZ Granny

The led light turns on but keeps blinking

That is a blink code. Count the sequence and that is the error code.

What do you do when the interface module keeps blinking

you probably have to have the interface module replaced. Pretty common on this model for those to go bad. If you contact Bose, they will repair it for a flat rate fee.

Bose Cinemate remote stopped working

Ive had the same problem, basically happens anytime we lose power or if it gets unplugged. Great speakers, poor design. Im not having any luck this time. Gonna try leaving it unplugged longer, like days this time. The remote feels like the problem, any button just causes the TV/VCR/AUX/ect row to blink, can't program it or anything. Seems like this is a common problem

HI I BOUGHT HT-S6300 3D-Ready Home Theater System 2 DAYS BEFORE. MY SUB-WOOFER IS NOT WORKING. NO SOUND IS COMING OUT EVEN BLUE LIGHT IS ON. I HAVE CHECKED SPEAKER CONFIGURATION, AND IT GIVES SOUND TO ALL...

Check your owners manual. You will probably have to activate the sub woofer outlet, using the remote. This outlet can usually be programmed to do more than one function.

Hi :) Im technology challenge but follow directions well can you please assist me with connect my bose cinemat ii with a blue ray dvd and my samsung lcd tv?

Hi there,

Well if you are using both SCART connectors, a test you can perform, is to connect the A/V output of the blue ray/dvd player (the audio Red/White - only) to your Home Theater System and see if you can get the picture on the TV and audio through the Home Theater System. If this works, then an alternative is to purchase a simple A/V switch, that you can switch the audio to the Home Theater System when viewing a DVD and then switch back to the TV audio source. Please follow the below link to get a audio switch -

Good Luck!!

Trying to connect to LG 60 inch plasma. no output

Hi.

You need to connect the Bose using the Optical Audio output from TV to Bose main unit (kind of square shaped connector), and not using the RCA inputs on TV.

The picture below is an LG back panel, the optical audio connector is at the lower side of I/O connections at the back of TV, on some model the location of connector may be different.

Works great , but Ipod dock only will give about half volume

All Ipod docks bypass the audio processor, so your volume and equalizer presets on the ipod will not work. Use the volume knob on the home theater unit itself.

Tv has no audio out jack

HI, use a scart adaptor to get phono audio out puts from your tv,be sure to use the scart which gives audio out this is the one with a box and arrows pointing in &out can be a little hard to see so if you have no sound try the other scart. Hope this helps.
