To enable Guest Mode: Under the General tab in the settings menu, tap on Guest Mode. From there you can select which apps Guests will have access. Remove all the guest accounts.

How to bypass Windows XP password? We often meet the headache stuff that don't...

How to bypass Windows XP password? We often meet the headache stuff that don't know the Windows system password at the critical comment. How to do if you made a Windows XP password that you never be care of it? How should you do when your computer has parents controlled by the XP Administrator password? Or you need to borrow a friend's computer to carry out emergency work, but you don't know the admin password...Let's share some tips about how to bypass windows XP password.

First things first, try the guest account. Simply enter 'Guest' in the user name box, or click on the account labeled Guest. Sometimes people will have these account enabled without even realizing it, and many times they are left without a password. If this doesn't work for you, or you require a little bit more access than the Guest account provides, read on.

Next up is Windows XP's built in 'Administrator' account. This account is created during Windows installation, and is not accessible under normal circumstances. Many computers, especially those that come from Dell or similar companies, leave the Administrator account without password protection.

To get to this account, boot the computer into safe mode. You can do this by holding down the F8 key during startup, and selecting Safe Mode from the Windows boot menu. Once the computer boots into Safe Mode, you'll have access to the Administrator account. Things will look a little weird in Safe Mode, but don't worry, things will be fine when you boot normally again.

Once Windows finishes booting, try getting into the Administrator account, leaving the password field blank. If you're unable to get in this way, then there is a password on the account, and unless you can guess it, you're going to have to try something else, and you can skip the next paragraph. If you're in, then there's no limit to what you can do.

Besides, you can also take use of Windows password reset CD to remove Windows XP password if you forgot Windows XP password. Well, how can you get Windows password reset CD? Just download Windows Password Unlocker and a blank CD, you can DIY a Windows password reset CD in 4 steps.

In fact, Windows Password Unlocker can be used to bypass windows 7 password, bypass windows vista password , bypass windows NT password and so on.

Cant get administrative mode, goes straight to guest how to i get it to admin mode. i have a aspire one D270-1410 laptop

You need to activate the Administrator account. On WinXP I usually press F8 during startup, and restart in Safe Mode. Then go to accounts and make sure Administrator is activated, and set to show up during startup.

Disable safe mode windows

You can't disable Safe Mode in windows as it is used for trouble shooting the OS in times of failure. If you need to restrict access to Safe Mode set a password lock on the accounts on the machine and disable the guest account.

Forgot my password for a gateway laptop and can only use guest. need help to unlock it with out a cd or usb?

the first thing I would recommend is running the computer in safe mode(press F8 as the computer is loading), that should give access to the administrator account, if not then the only way to bypass guest account is with the use of password removal software, which requires either a CD or USB flash drive

Forgot password for my laptop compaq armada 1750 notebook. I treid going in threw safe mode but it still asked for password. I tried going in as guest but it said account has been disabled.PLEASE...

You can't enter the laptop until it has Guest Account Enabled. It is surely disabled. And for that Forgotten Password, try to remember that do you have any other user on that laptop. If yes, then log into on behalf of that user and change the password of yours by accessing the User Account Page in the Control Panel. This way you need not have to remember the Password of that account. And if you don't have any other administrator, then try a Hard Reset. You can do it by De-attaching every internal and external Attachable part of the Laptop.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

Aspire 3690 again ha

When you start the machine keep pressing F8 until the machine boots, it should boot straight into safe mode. Safe mode will look different from the regular Windows mode. Once safe mode has opened there will be user boxes, one with your son's user account, one with administrator account, and possibly one with the guest account. Click on the administrator account. This is where you need to be in order to clear the password.
