Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
I try to boot my pc and it freezs after a short time or some times it wont boot at all. you push the power button and there are 3 lights beside the power button. the one in the middle ( a lock with the letter A in the middle just flashes. Please help me get my pc up and running again.
Remove all drives, battery, PC Card, Mini-PCI cards and RAM, see if you get a different indication.
If the LED lights change, power off, install RAM, reboot, If the system posts from that point, then add components back one at a time and see if any one stops the system from posting. If you isolate one item, then replace that item.
If the system will not post after removing all the items, tehn the motherboard is likely the point of failure.
