Question about Samsung YP-K3 MP3 Player

Transfering albums onto Samsung YPK3 PLAYER

I pushed the button too soon on my previous message - so it was unfinished.

Can anyone please tell me how to transfer the CD's so they remains as it they are on the original CD's, and the tracks don't get all jumbled up and mixed together once they are on the mp3 player

Thanks for that. I was just talking to Maanita (paid via paypal) but connection was cut off accidentally. She was saying that I could create a folder for each CD in Windows Media Player, then transfer each folder - and that way they would remain separate. Not sure how to create a folder, though, and I got cut off before Maanita could finish telling me.

Alphabetical order only - edit the id3 tags to change the song name alphabetically - that is the only way to get it in the order you want.

Create a playlist in Windows Media Player for each album, and then transfer the playlists to the player:

My samsung YPK3 mp3 player is fully charged and when I go to turn it on, it freezes on the loading screen. I tried the reset button, but it didn't do anything except turn it off.

try to remove all the music on your mp3 player, copy it on your computer so you can put it back later,
after removing all the music try to open it, then if your mp3 player loads completely turn it off then put back the music files

hope this thing helps?

Iriver clix2 1st gen

I would download the free program known as Media Monkey. The program will read the files that are on the Clix and allow you to edit the properties of each song so that the album art will be associated properly with each song. Warning: this will take a long time- each song has to be edited.

Another option si that you can check the iRiver website to see if they have a firmware update which resolves the album art transfer issue.

You have to make sure that the ID3 tags have the album name on them. right click song, select properties, and edit the id3 tag. For more instructions, go to www.microsoft.com and search for "edit id3 tags in windows media player"
