Do the 5 R's - reset, restore, etc - see your owner's manual for details; go to Apple's website if you have lost the manual

The circle and clicker wont move and I have tried resetting but that did not work and i just ended up losing all my music. I also tried the holding the middle circle and menu button together but that does...

for the first ipod it sounds like you have a faulty click wheel, there's nothing you can do but replacing it. you can look on ebay and see if they have the part as for installing it here's a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuBBAITcp9s. if you feel confident in doing it yourself give it a try. for the second ipod it looks like it's the battery you can find it on ebay and again if you feel confident in doing it yourself here's the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaTDRis3ti8&feature=channel hope this help

My ipod says www.apple.com/support/ipod

Hi,

This means there's some kind of problem with the iPod.
It might be solved by resetting or restoring your iPod. Otherwise, you'll probably need to take the iPod into an Apple store to see what's wrong.

Here's how to reset your iPod:
  1. Turn on the iPod, and make sure it's unlocked (no red is showing by the switch at the top)
  2. Press the "menu" button (at the top of the circle) and the "select" button (middle of the circle) at the same time and hold them down for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo on the screen
Here's how to restore your iPod:
NOTE: this will delete all music, etc. from your iPod
  1. Plug your iPod into the computer
  2. Open iTunes
  3. Click on "Restore" (on the "Summary" tab).
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions.

You'll need to resync all your music etc. to get it back on the iPod after it's been restored.
If your iPod does not show up in iTunes, use these directions to put it into disk mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1363
Then try the restore directions again.

Hope this helps!

MY IPOD IS STUCK ON THIS RED CIRCLE WITH A X IN THE MIDDLE. CAN U HELP ME UNLOCK IT?

What I would do is reset the ipod by hold down the menu and select buttons for at least 10 seconds, you will then get the apple logo come up. You may need to try several times. If it doesn't get back to me.
