When you say having difficulty in adding the songs in CLIP, though you have enough space. I'd kindly request you to check for the number of songs that you have added.
Because when you add as MP3 player by default its bit rate is 128kbps so you can add up to 500 songs only. Kindly have a check on it.
I have given the number of songs that can be added with related to size of MP3 player..
Size of the player :512MB

download limewire then add all your songs there. Then go to options and transfer options. After browse your files and select a file. Then go to itunes and click file in the left hand corner and click add file to library. There should be files and click the one you added your limewire song to. then drag the library to your ipod icon.
connect the mp3 player to the computer , if you have not got the drivers then go onto the players website and download them for your computer, then restart your computer and reconnect the player then go into the player on my computer and into the music folder here you will be able to add and delet songs
a 1 GB MP3 Player will hold roughly 256 songs. This is an Average and will increase or decrease based on the file size of the songs you are trying to add. I used 4 MBs, which is the average song size.
You won't need to download or install any programs if you have Windows Media Player on your computer. You can use other programs but WMP is probably the easiest!
Plug in your MP3 player using the USB cord (should be in box)
Open WMP
(If your songs are already in Library skip this step). Click "File" (top left hand corner) then "Add to Library..." Click "OK" WMP will now find all music on your computer and add it to Library.
If the internet is connected WMP will attempt to find song info such as title, artist, album etc. Otherwise right click on song and click "Edit"
Click on "Sync" tab (top of player). A sidebar should appear with "Creative zen.. etc" written on the top.
Drag songs into sidebar.
Click "Start Sync"
The songs will now download onto your MP3 player.
To organise your files into folders etc. go to "My Computer" then "Creative Zen etc" then "Music" and create folders (right click "create folder") copy, paste, and drag your songs in folders as you like.
You can now unplug you MP3 player and turn it on!
Please reply so I can know if this information was helpful or not and can help you further.
1) Make sure the file type is compatible with the player
2) make sure the files do not have DRM encryption - BearShare, Napster, etc all have DRM-encrypted files
you can use windows media player to add songs or you can just drag and dropped the song over to the music folder of your mp3 player. Windows media player you should have version 10 or 11
Same thing happened to me. I was using windows media player to sync my song and it says my player was using 260 mb of space even though it was formatted time after time. I simply loaded as many song as I could fit on the player. When I unplugged it and plugged it back in, windows media now showed that missing 260 mb of space as available. The only catch is that the song I had already uploaded on to the player were not shown on the sync list.
