Unfortunately your solution didn't work, also my projector was set up by an expert so i don;t want to lose all the current settings. Do you have any other suggestions or know anyone else that might be able to suggest something?

I thought that might be the case, thanks for your help anyway.

Try turning off the projector, disconnect the power cord and remove the lamp again. then press the power button for about 10 seconds to fully drain power. afterwards, connect/insert the lamp again making sure it is securely connected with the cover, power on the device and attempt to reset the lamp time again. let us know how it goes.

if you are worried on losing anything, you may want to consult the same expert who set it up so he can check it further for you. Based on the details, it may be needed that the projector settings/configuration has to be reset to factory defaults if the lamp time reset does not still work.

Make sure you are punching the right buttons on the circle of buttons. There are inside buttons and outside buttons. It took me several tries until I realized I was pushing the outside ones instead of the inside ones. Once I carefully looked at the button setup, I had no problems.

When i put my DLA-D15 on the standby ligth goes on when i put operate on it come and goes off after 10 seconds and the fans don't operate.could you tell me whats wrong?and the lamp has only 200 hours

hi,
First of check the lamp of your projector. possibility of lamp burning. Remove the lamp from the projector and check whether it burned or not. If not, insert the lamp back and close the lamp cover properly. If the lamp cover is not properly closed this problem can occur, because there is switch to sense whether the lamp cover is closed or not.
If these will not help then you have to open your projector. Check the lamp cooling fan of your projector. maybe its has some problem.Do one thing, Remove the fan from the projector. In the fan there will be a specification sticker. Remove the sicker. now u can see a hole in the center. its the bearing part of the fan. put one drop of oil in it. u can use any type of lubricating oil. rotate the fan leafs with finger for some time. after that re-stick the spec sticker. insert the fan in the projector. power ON the projector and watch.

I also had this issue - followed the On, Input, Undo, Left, Enter, Right, On button sequence several times. Then I decided to push them in that sequence very quickly and it worked. The lamp LED on the front changed to green and the projector started up. So the button sequence they provide in the manual works, you just have to push them in rapid succession. Hope that helps.

Dla-g15 comes on but do not start

does the cooling fan come on at all during the instant that it turns on for? If not then the problem is almost certainly overheating, depending on exactly how long it takes to turn off - is it so "instantly" that it is before you get your finger off the button, or is it a couple of seconds or so. If the fan does come on then so long as you are fairly sure all filters etc are clean the most likely problem is the lamp is not installed correctly or there could be a fault in the temperature sensor. check the lamp installation instructions and make sure you have followed them exactly. post back and we can look for more info if you need it :)
