Computer doesn't use Graphics Card

if it has a exclamation sign on it and it is in yellow it means the driver is missing .Even if you installed some driver it is not for this card ..If you know the card name ..and so...just go to the manufacturer's support site and download the driver for your operation system and run it again .This will fix teh issue for sure.If you have an on-board graphic card ..the driver should be on the motherboard's disk with the other drivers..if the card is separately on agp or pci ..it should have its own disk ..Always run the proper driver for the operation system you use..and exact driver for the device ..they rarely work for related models from the same manufacturer..but only sometimes..You always need to get the one for this device .and be sure when you load it that you installed it and had no errors.
Let me know if you need further assistance ..in locating the driver ..but only if you have information about the graphic card ..otherwise I don't know what to look for ..
have a nice day ..and please rate my answer..it helps my activity here !

Is there any driver, program or software fix that will allow me to load my "Intel Create & Share Software on my Windows 7 Dell Inspiron 530?

The Intel Create & Share was written for Windows 2K and XP and not updated. The workaround is to use a computer (second machine, dual boot or virtual) with XP installed.

If you have Windows 7 Pro or Ultimate or update to one of those versions, you may be able to run a virtual XP computer for free. Download from Microsoft and install in order the Virtual PC program and the XP mode software. Install the Intel Create & Share program in XP mode as if it is your only OS. (Note: you can't have hardware installed on the virtual and real computer at the same time. To share files you will need to save them to external media (USB or optical disc).)

Other virtual computer programs are VMWare and Parallels. For the other options, you will need a licensed version of the older Windows OS.

I hope this helps.

Help... My desktop was updated and I declined to install the update. It said it would affect the state of my computer that there would be some changes since I didn't accept... Instantly, everything on...

Start your computer in "safe mode" and do a system restore to back before the update. If it was a windows update, they are generally safe. The only ones you really might want to avoid would be a service pack update, of you don't want it, or an update to something like a video or graphics card. Try to look at your updates and/or check for updates, and install that update. You can always do a restore and/or an update unistall.

Windows 7 64 bit wont boot up unless I disable the nvidia. I tried updating the driver but this did not help.

How did you update driver? Did you use Nvidia? I can't find it at all through Asus. Do you get video through the Intel chipset with the Nvidia diabled? Anyway Nvidia has a download but I don't know what comes with it, and if you tried to download from Nvidia, you have to unistall the old software before installing new software for it to work right.Look in programs and features and see if you have any duplicate software. Do you by chance have an installation CD for your graphics? If so, I would do one of two things, if you have a CD, uninstall all Asus software, you will have the video graphics but, you may also have "Smart Doctor" and "OSD gamer". Again, if you have a CD uninstall all Asus software including graphics driver, gamer and Smart Doctor restart system, and re-install from CD. If you are going to try download from Nvidia, try uninstalling video graphics only, then download driver from Nvidia. If you have questions let me know.

Shader model 3.0 can you please install

sorry, but shader model is basically something used by your graphics card (hardware) , meaning you'll need a new graphics card installed on your computer if you wish to play high end games. There is a way to bypass the use of a shader model by emulating a graphics card but depending on your pc speed and memory you may not reach the requirements of the game to play it.

Here is a link for the emulator that also comes with the instruction set on how to use it. http://crystalunicorn.wordpress.com/2008/08/30/3d-analyze-virtual-graphics-emulator/

Also to know exactly what your missing in a game you want to play; you can use this link to see what games you can play, and what needs more of something else.
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/

It uses an activex which needs to be installed to check your pc; and don't worry its harmless to your system.

Hope this helps ;)

How to install the video drive

I'm sure you mean how to install a video driver. If you want to do this manually, you need to know what kind of graphics card, the computer has. Then, search and download the specific graphics card driver from the Internet. Or if you have the graphics driver disc, you can install the driver from there.

Another easier method is to download and install this free driver scanning tool from here: http://xpdrivers.com/index.cfm or directly from this link: http://xpdrivers.com/download/download.cfm

After you install it, answer yes when it asks to run. It would scan your drivers and tell you which drivers need to be updated, and will let you update them from the Internet. You need not even know what graphics or video driver you have. It's simple. Try it out.

Hope that helps,
Regards,
Raspal

Hi, I think there is something wrong with my graphics card, every time i try to enable it and update drivers it goes to a blue screen with error. Now i'm running off the standard default windows graphics...

First you should have the driver for your graphic card, its always better to uninstall it rather than doing the update for most cases because these is the . Then try to go to safe mode, restart your computer and press f8, then choose safe mode, when you on your desktop right click my computer then go to manage or if you know how to go directly to the device manager, if you see the display adapter from there uninstall it and go to the control panel or in add/remove programs then make sure that the name of the video card driver is not there, e.g nvidia/inter graphic driver. Then go to the normal mode or you can stay on the safe mode and install it. If there is a latest driver update you can go to the card's manufacturer and download it and if you have the previous driver, always make sure to uninstall it.

CANT PLAY A MOVIE PR ANYTHING FULL SCREEN

I think you need to update or download the graphics driver. If you know your chipset manufacturer, you can go to their SUPPORT WEBSITE and download the graphics driver. For example, if you are using an intel chipset, you can go to intel.com/support/chipsets then select the chipset family, select the exact chipset that you have, click on "download" for the graphics driver, select your operating system...
Hope this helps. Thank you.
