Question about IBM ThinkPad 570E Notebook
When I turn on the computer, The screen shows up blank.Sometimes after closing and opening the cover, it shows up. Could this be due to a faulty flat cable which connects the main body to the screen(cover)? One the image comes up, I can use the pc with no problem. If my hunch is right, where can I obtain a replacement flat cable and what would be the parts#/description?
My e-mail is email@example.com
It could be a faulty cable; if it is try ebay. However, it may just be that the cable has come loose off the motherboard where it plugs in at. I bought a laptop on ebay for $50 because "the screen wouldn't work" and reattached the cable and it worked beautifully.
