Question about Dell Inspiron 6000 Notebook
Hello, If you are still in need of getting this fixed I can help. I have replaced many of these DC jacks and have since moved my service to ebay. If interested you can look at the ebay link that I have provided below. This will take you directly to my service ad. As you will see, I am a certified computer technician and on top of that, I have a 100% positive feedback rating. My price is very reasonable as well. So if you would like to get your system fixed, please consider me. The link is: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=220284642915&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT&ih=012 Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you! Sam

Does your laptop go on just plugged in? If not it could be the power jack has broken inside. Cheap part, but VERY expensive to repair unless you do it yourself. A repair shop will charge around 300.00 or more for the repair.
Read this, and it will give a example of how to do it.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service
