Intermatic FD2HW Energy Controls - In-Wall Timers 2 Hour White Logo
Posted on Dec 25, 2010

Need to be able to disassemble an intermatich FD2HW - take the plate off the wall to paint the wall. Not sure if the timer buttom pops off or unscrews to remove it? Not like my other light switches which are straight forward to remove

The knob pulls off.
Use small screwdriver to pry it up.

Really old FD and FF series timers, the knob has tiny set screw in end of knob.
I haven't seen one with set screw for years

Mastergrip hvlp paint sprayer

Probably have a blockage in your airbrush. Disassemble the air brush and clean thoroughly. Be sure to disassemble and clean after every use session. Be sure to mix the paint. If the paint has settled, it may be too thick to spray.

I have a utilitech battery powered digital wall switch timer 0357930 and am getting an Err instead of the light turning on? Any idea what might be causing this? I'm not sure I am engaging the slide door...

Copy following link for product manuals:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#utilitec
Try removing batteries to reset timer. If functionality is not restored after reset, then buy a new timer at Lowes, and return defective timer in new package.
If timer is screwed to wall switch and flat against plate, then the slide is positioned correctly.

How could i put a glitters with my wall at my facebook

  • SPRAY CLEAR GLITTER ON DRY WALLS -- Go to your local craft store and pick up a couple cans of spray glitter. You want a clear base so you can keep your current wall color. Look for a spray that says something like clear glitter finish or clear glitter sealer. Then just spray your walls with the clear glitter spray.

  • PAINT YOUR WALLS WITH GLITTER SPRAY PAINT -- If you want to change the color of your walls you can spray paint them with colored glitter spray paint so you get the painting and glitter done in one easy step. However, spray paint can be expensive and you may find it is difficult to get a nice even coat of paint. So this method would be good for a small room or an accent wall.

  • PAINT YOUR WALLS THEN ADD GLITTER -- This is the cheapest way to get the glittery look you want. Buy your wall paint in the color of your choice. Then buy tubes of glitter in the craft section. As you paint your walls, do one small section at a time. Then pour out a bit of glitter on a paper plate and gently blow on the glitter so it blows onto the freshly painted wall. The glitter will stick to the wet paint. Then move on to the next section and do the same thing! If you are applying two coats of paint to your walls add the glitter to the second coat.

I need an electro-mechanical timer for decorator plate. Intermatic E1343 is no longer available.

    http://www.lutron.com/Products/StandAloneControls/Timers/MaestroTimer/Pages/Overview.aspx
Lutron makes a decorator plate countdown timer

    http://waterheatertimer.org/Programmable.html
This page shows electro-mechanical dial-type timers, and it shows digital programmable timers.

The electro-menchanical dial-type do not use a Deco plate.
Instead each timer has it's own plate.

Now Paragon makes a multi-gang timer

Remove Intermatic 60 min. wall timer face plate only from wall

That knob should just pull straight off. Check to make sure there isn't a tiny set screw on the side, but otherwise you can pull it off and remove the cover plate.
