I cannot transfer photos from

I cannot transfer photos from my Canon DS6041 to my computer. I received this camera from my son and today I installed the Digital Camera solution disk on my computer but now the camera cannot connect to the computer.

I have the same problem.

Suggest a new solution for this problem
