- I've had a couple of replies. However, none addressed my question. How do I disassemble the top of the range to get to the control board? How do I replace the control board? I know what part to get already, I just need to find the instruction for replacing it. Thanks again.

- I need help from those who have worked on the Dacor ERD36 Duel-Fuel range to tell me the steps needed to get to the clock/control panelso I can replace it. Thanks.
I contacted Dacor and they stated that the F6 error means the ERC or Electronic Relay Control is bad. This part would need to be relaced. They gave me a parts company to contact for the part. It is Appliance Parts Depot at 1-800-642-6420.

- I have got to the Appliance Parts Depot site and they have a diagram for you to look at which will make it very easy to pull it all appart as you can see where the screws are etc.
We have a ERD36 and it is on its third control board. What happens is that even though the burners are sealed, water can seep around the edges of the cooktop, via spillage or even just cleaning. In particular, the area between the cooktop and the bullnose is vulnerable, as the control board is underneath it. There is a shield above the control board, but there is no gasket to prevent water from seeping by it as well. Water then drips onto the control board and causes a failure.
To access the control board, you need a special key to unscrew the brass rings which hold the burners to the gas pipes. Pull up the burners and unplug the igniters. Then lift off the rangetop. Unscrew the shield that runs across the front of the range, and the control board will be exposed.
Be very careful when unplugging the ribbon connector which runs around the back of the board to the control panel. It is very thin and prone to breakage.
Assembly is the reverse of disassembly. While at it, you might want to examine the undersides of the burners to make sure the silicon seal rings are still in good shape. And finally, be very careful not to strip the threads on the aluminum gas pipes when screwing the brass rings back on.
we have some of these control panels available way below retail price! It is the whole front panel and includes the control board, clock knob bezels, etc. email me if you need info! donsappliances@gmail.com
