My Wii console will not turn on. It's has power to it as the TV works fine. is there an internal fuse or master reset switch inside that can be replaced? I've tried plugging into another outlet also with...

No Master reset. There is a reset button on the wii but his only works if your wii turn on.
But there is a fuse and I think the fuse is the problem if you think your power supply is good

Buy a tri-crew drive ship on ebay $2
fix it by your self because you have no warranty (it is 6 years old)
open it up then replace the fuse
here is where the fuse should be http://i47.tinypic.com/2lbko7b.png

This will also help to open up the wii http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Repair/Repairing-Nintendo-Wii-Drive-Board-Fuses/4029/1

Make sure to order the fuse with the screw driver too. It should cost you less than $10
If you don't want to replace the fuse, just use wire and solder the two solder pads for the fuse but this method is bad.

Please rate if this helped you.

What is the master key of parental controls in Nintendo wii its a five digits master key please reply..

The master key is whatever the owner of the console set it as. In order to reset the master key, you need to contact nintendo.

Alternatively, if you click forgot password twice it will give you a confirmation #. The website below is rumored to be able to take your confirmation # and give you the reset code.

I haven't tested the second method myself personally, but I do know calling nintendo WILL work.

I need a parental control reset code

Hi there

Click the "Wii" button located on the bottom left corner of the screen on the Wii Main menu.

Click the "Wii Settings" button on the System Settings screen. Look for the button with the wrench icon.

Move to the second page of the Wii System Settings screen by clicking the blue arrow.

Click the "Parental Controls" button on the second System Settings screen.

Click "I Forgot" when asked asked to enter your four-digit PIN.

Answer the secret question displayed on the screen. You provided the question when you set up your Wii. Note that the answer to the question is case sensitive.

If you answer correctly, you'll have access to the Parental Control Settings. Reset your PIN on this screen by entering a new PIN number and a new answer to the secret question, then clicking OK.

Click "I Forget" if you can't remember the answer to the question. Nintendo displays a message screen with text telling you to contact Nintendo customer support. At the bottom of the screen is a confirmation number.

Write down the confirmation number so you don't forget it, and leave your Wii turned on with the confirmation number screen displayed.

Call Wii customer support at 800-255-3700. Tell Nintendo customer support your confirmation number. You'll receive a master key code to reset your parental control PIN. Write down the master key code.

Return to your Wii, and click the "Enter Master Key" button. On the Master Key screen, enter the five-digit master key you received from Nintendo customer support, then click "Confirm Master Key." The Wii displays a message stating that "Parental Controls are Now Disabled." Click "OK" for the Wii to return you to page two of the Wii Systems Setting screen.

Click the "Parental Controls" button on the Wii System Settings screen. The Parental Controls screen will now show that you have no parental control settings enabled. Enter a new four-digit PIN number and secret question to reset your PIN, then click "OK."

What is the pin number on the wii

At pin entry screen, select "I forgot"
At secret question screen, select "I forgot"
Retrieve "confirmation number"
Call Nintendo tech support 1-800-255-3700

Current reports indicate the Wii master reset pin code differs for every wii, and depends on the confirmation number, and may also depend on the current date.

The reset code may be the output of an unpublished algorithm, or a unique id (such as serial number) embedded in the wii. Reverse engineering would be needed to determine this when the necessary technical details are unavailable. or go here :
http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp
This will allow the reset instead of waiting for a lackadaisical tech support.

Parental controls [ password forgot]

Go to http://wii.marcansoft.com/parental.psp and enter your 8 digit confirmation number there. When you do so, make sure that whatever today's date is, your Wii is set to that date. (And select Today's date from one of the 3 possible choices.)
