you will need to update a new driver for the monitor
if it's too old you will need a new video card thats compatible with the new monitor.Which i think your brtter off doing.

we use the old CRT monitor made by motorola with TTL video signal and different
vertical &horizontal frequency signals than monitor with vga signal.at now we can not replace crt with lcd .is
there any interface to convert this crt signal to vga monitor signal for replacing the crt with lcd or vga monitor ,beacause this crt
is discontinued and the quality of video is weak.if you needs the crt specification i will post it for you.thanks.
