Question about Nokia N72 Cellular Phone

Phone does not accept the connection

My Nokia N72 phone does not show the signal of the service provider. when i switch off and then switch on, it shows the signal, but immediately after that, the signal disappers and it does not come back. hence, neither i am able to call anyone and vice versa.
Please help.

You should start by checking your system selection settings. on your phone, you should go to your settings and tools menu, phone settings, then choose system select (or select system) and ensure the setting is on "automatic". if you have an option between "a" and "b", choose option a. if you have already checked that, let me know and we will try something else

    Ok, now that you have checked ur system select options, where r u using ur phone ?? inside or outside ?? if the problem happens in a particular location, then the issue is network related. however, if it happens everywhere u take ur device, then it is the equipment. trying a hard reset, which is removing the battery while the phone is powered on, then replacing the battery and powering back on, helps ur phone if it is malfuctioning. you may also want to make sure u are updating your roaming towers, which u would need to check ur information from ur service provider to get that number. if after exhausting all those options, it may be time to look into a new device. let me know what happens, there may be other options to try, but start with these.

Net work connection


You need to call your carrier to check your connection. You can also reset your phone by taking the battery out and wait about a minute and see if that refreshes your setting. Also, go to setting and see if your Wifi is turned on and scan your network. Hope this helps, if not just go back where you bought the phone and they will help you restore your phone. Good luck

Hi, My Nokia N72 phone has stopped showing the incoming call number display. Its showing call. In the received calls also its showing as "no number". How to correct it with any setting changes.. please...


You will need to see if the service provider has blocked your calls with a reason and so call up the tool free to confirm .
If the SIM is tested also on another set it can be confirmed.
if so the software of the phone must be reinstalled.

Nokia N72 not switching ON


Its more safe to go to your service provider than try to fix it and may cause more harm, I cant tell you what to do cause i didnt see the problem.

check the settings by pressing the middle button and then -->application settings ---> configuration settings .

also check settings-->configuration -->default config settings-->select ur service provider and also check "activate defaults in all application"

Gprs not working on my nokia n72


Dear Mikunj

First of all the error u have said is occur due if there is no proper setting or packet data not available

So first subscribe packet data from your service provider they will send you gprs setting via message,save it then long press 0 key to start gprs (wap) page

Now most of service provider gives free surfing to gprs,so check it with customer care

but if you have already have subscribed packet data & have gprs setting in ur phone & still problem occurs then ur phone's certificates has been corrupted & u have to reinstall it

Web connecting problem


just connect the data cable to the pc and phone , go to pc suite start connect to internet , go to settings , choose your phone as modem ( also set as default if only phone is sync ) change the service provider to a list of providers given and press connect and you will be connected provided you also have data services activated by your provider.
