Hi,
I fixed the problem on my end and wanted to pass it on to you... I contacted Sony.com The gentleman told me if the dvd recorder is stuck on DVD1 hold the enter button and 1 button down at the same time for 5 seconds and then release at the same time and it should reset your dvd recorder and power on... but make sure the dvd recorder is in the off mode when trying the procedure. Then just leave it on DVD1 when you program everything again! Everything should work fine after that, Please let me know if this helps you also! Medina
