Question about Jazz DV-179 Digital Camera

Jazz dv-179,cannot extract SD VIDEO

Recorded a live show but nothing appears in any folder such as DCIM,MP3 and E BOOK.However when I check the properties of the 2GB San Disk card it indicates 1.18 GO used memory and 720 GO of free memory.Something is on the card but I don't know how to extract the info.The card was brand new.

i was just on here looking for a solution to that problem, but i had just figured it out, what you gotta do is select all the music from your SD card, copy it, and past it into the MP3 folder under the DCIM and all that, hope this helps ya out,

Try not running the Syn software at all. Try copying the files over manually.

After plugging in the USB cable you should get a small popup that says its connected.

Click on "My computer" and under "Devices with removable storage" you should see a new device called DV.

double click on that and you should see 3 folders. DCIM, EBOOK, and MP3

Copy your mp3 files from your computer into the mp3 folder of the camera and it should work.

create an MP3 folder on the root drive of the SD card and drag and drop your mp3 music there...

Yes you can. Any sd card will work. (Not micro sd)

I Download music to Mp3 and it says no file on it, but it will play the songs on Windows Media Player.

I HAVE THE ANSWER! You need to convert the music files (that are probably in something like WAV format) into a .mp3 music file. Then all you have to do is copy the songs into the mp3 music player on your camera!
