Question about Yamaha R-V1105 Receiver
My reciever turns itself off after a couple of minutes. Its not hot so thats not it
I've been working on an R-V1105 for a couple days now. The microcontroller in it is quite sensitive to circuit failures.
In my case, I have a ton of bad solder joints on the board containing the voltage regulators and power amp for the surround channels. This is but one of many potential causes of shutdown, but I'll bet, based on my experience with Yamaha, that the problem is a soldering issue.
