Question about Philips Audio Players & Recorders
The songs are probably in the wrong format - use Mp3 file format exclusively, and you will not have any problems. WMA format has too many issues. Also, this player does not recognize iTunes.

Tips for a great answer:
Jul 16, 2012 | Philips GOGEAR Audio Players & Recorders
For your CD collection, you need to convert your CDs to
mp3 music files onto your computer or download them from the Internet and then
copy them to your MP3 player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player will create a MP3 music file for each music track.
