I need to get a wireing harness for Panasonic CQ VD7001U

Are you missing the wiring harness that plugs directly into the radio? If so, then you will have to contact a Panasonic dealer or Panasonic's website directly. If you are looking for a wiring harness to install into your vehicle, you can find them at www.crutchfield.com

I have a 'Eurovox' car radio/cassette with 'Land Rover' on the front, but the two plugs do not match up with my Range Rover. So I would like to know how to, (after removing the plugs), wire it in. These...

If you leave the original plugs connected to the radio unit you will be able to get an adapter from a motor store. In the UK Halfords keep most types, in the US I don't know what similar stores you have but i would imagine Radio Shack or similar will keep the type you need. Take the radio unit with you so they can see the connectors on the unit - they will probablky be ISO fittings and then they will be able to advise the Range Rover fitting.

If they do not have a suitable adaptor, ask them to identifiy the connectors on the radio unit (DIN, ISO etc) and then ask your local Landrover/Range Rover dealer if they can supply an adaptor for you.

Hope this clears your problem, please mark the post as Fixya.

Need wiring harness power and speaker wire that connect to radio.

If you are saying that you don't have the harness that plugs into the radio itself, you will need to visit the website of the particular brand or visit the dealer that carries them. If you are talking about an install harness (which wires your your radio wires and then plugs into the vehicle side of the harness), you can get them at www.crutchfield.com

I need a color coding of the wiring for the harness i was given for my kenwood dpx308u. i just need to know which colors belong to which wires

Ok, you should have a wiring harness that plugs into the radio. That comes with the radio. You will need a wiring harness that is specific to your vehicle, this will plug into the vehicle harness. The wiring harness will have the correct colors to attach your radio to it. All aftermarket radios have standardized wiring. I recommend not attempting to hardwire your radio due to the risk of frying your entire electrical system. I hope this helps.

Jeep grnd chero limtd 95 wires have attached plug that belongs to another type of radio i bought a OEM jeep radio for my year however it has 2 connectors on back of unit what now??

Go to a salvage yard and get the two original plugs, one is grey and the other is black. Make sure to get the wires as long as possible. Then remove the wires from the plug in the car and splice to the same wire on the harness you bought at the salvage yard. You will also need to attach the ground wire to the bolt on the back of the radio. The ground is either a large braided wire or a single black wire. Make sure you have the right radio, if the Infinity name plate is on the speaker locations, then you need an infinity factory radio.

Adding line out inputs for RCA cables to amp

Hello ssmotorcity,

Here's a link to modifiedlife's Durango page showing the wire colors.

http://www.modifiedlife.com/2005-dodge-durango-car-radio-stereo-audio-wiring-diagram/

If you are adding a LOC for an amp to drive a sub, you are probably better off using the rear speaker wires, the last four wires shown on the listing. If you are adding an amp to drive all 4 channels, then of course, you need to convert both fronts and rears. The simple method is to tap directly into the appropriate wires and connect them to the line converter. If you do not want to tap the wires, you can purchase aftermarket wiring harnesses that are made to plug directly into your vehicle radio and/or the vehicle wiring harness. The Metra part number for a stock radio harness is 71-6502. It plugs into the radio and provides pigtail connections for power and speakers. There is, of course, a harness that plugs into the vehicle harness itself, allowing you to make the connections without any cutting or tapping of the original wiring.

Hope this helps.
