Question about Washing Machines
Went through the test program in the installation/service manual, which was taped to the back of the washer. It indicated that the drain .pump was not operating. Checked voltage to pump- OK at 116V. Pump was stalled and getting warm. Dismantled motor from pump housing and found impeller was stalled by a broken toothpick. Reassembled and washer now operating normally.
