Can i be able to upgrade my windows7starter to windows7ultimate? please tell me how. i have an emachines eM350.

The eM350 is a netbook and Windows 7 Ultimate might be too much for it to handle. Therefore I do not recommend it.

However the choice is yours, and as long as your netbook meets the minimum requirements (1 GHz processor, 1 GB ram, 16 GB HDD space) you should be good to go, the link you need to go to is here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/buy/windows-7-upgrade-starter-to-ultimate.aspx

Official Microsoft website, you will need to pay approx. $170 to buy the lic. and upgrade on-line.

Hope this helps

Tosheiba Netbook NB205-N210 2 GIG, upgrade to Windows 7

I personally have not but if you are concerned how it will run, you should be fine, windows 7 is very efficent on resources.
  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  • 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
These are system specs so if you exceed these then your laptop will run great.

    Hope this helps

I'm trying to upgrade from 64-bit Vista to 64 bit Windows 7. When I run the installation disk, I'm getting the following error message, which appears to be contradictory in my opinion:...

I have seen this type of problem before, the only real way around it is to install a fresh copy of windows 7 not to upgrade, you will receive a message that asks you if you want to keep the previous windows in a folder called old windows, from there you will be able to access all your old files and programs, be aware though some programs may not work on windows 7, and you may need to have updated drivers for the systems peripherals. So when you run the windows 7 disk choose clean install and go from there. i hope this helps
