Phone frozen powers up but screen stays blue only a faint beep when keys pressed

press the home key, volume key, and power key hold for 10-15 seconds, when screen changes only release power key and continue holding volume key and home key. A menu will appear on your screen just follow instructions to do a reset. Good luck

1. When you press the power button to turn it on, do you see any thing on screen, like the toshiba boot up screen or something like that. Or is it completely blank (black color) always.

2. Can you see a faint image of your desktop (try to see it in dark place with flash light). This is important to confirm.

3. Also, when you press power button, do you see the LED lights on laptop blinking or solid green (which ones are in blinking/solid) and do hear any sound ? Or do you feel that your laptop doesnt even try to boot.

4. Can you hear any Beeps when you try to turn on the computer. If yes, what is the sequence of those beeps.

1. blank
2. no image
3. only the satellite light is blue, the powercord is blue and the battery is blue
4. no noise

Please do the following carefully and let me know result :
1. Shutdown and Unplug your laptop.
2. Remove the battery from the laptop.
3. Wait 2-3 minutes
4. Now press ON (power button on laptop) for 1 minute
5. Then release the finger and wait one more minute.
6. Now plug in the power cable (dont insert battery yet) and press ON button.
7. Did your screen start working now ? (do you see windows loading)

7. Press the Power key to select.
8. Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'Yes -- delete all user data.'
9. Press the Power key to select. The unpacking Android screen appears, and once complete with the reset, the Android system recovery screen reappears.
10. Press the Volume Down key to highlight 'reboot system now.'
11. Press the Power key to select. The phone will automatically restart.

If your are tapping the F key repeatedly it will beep after the first one. If you don't tap, does it still beep? You can try resetting the device and check if that would work.
Power off the phone.
2.Press and hold Vol+ key and Power key simultaneously until several blue sentences appear on the screen which are reboot system now; apply update from sdcard; wipe data/factory reset; wipe cache partition.
3.Use Vol+ key and Vol- key to move the cursor to "wipe data/factory reset" and press camera key to confirm it.
4.There are many words "No" and one sentence "Yes -- delete all user data". Use Vol+ key and Vol- key to move the cursor to "Yes -- delete all user data". Press camera key to confim it.
5.The phone will finish the reseting by itselft after about 10 seconds later and then the cursor will be on "reboot system now" and press camera key to confirm it. The phone will reboot automatically.There is no unlock and password any more after the phone is on.

After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your phone will back to original system and factory settting.

Wow ! you have gone to a lot of trouble,,,,,have you tried to plug in an external monitor and check the results,,,,,the fn and function key will switch between internal and external monitors...the 2 beeps and poor display tells me ur mobo is shot but confirm by doing the above

"HELP" my phone just went to a blue screen , at the bottom it says" bootloader usb init" so i press the off button and it will flash same screen but says "power key reset" help please! vicki

Try removing the battery and starting up just on power supply. May be a bad battery. If that doesn't work let me know.
