Don't know if its a fuse !!! microwave just

If the oven is totally dead it may be that the line fuse is blown, but other things can cause the problem too. To figure out what's wrong you'll need the proper test equipment (at least a volt-ohmmeter) and experience with reading the circuit diagram, measuring voltages and checking parts. If you have an ohmmeter available, you can check the fuse at least, which is under the cover near where the line cord enters the cabinet. A good fuse will have a very low resistance while a bad one will have very high or infinite resistance. IF YOU DECIDE TO TRY THIS BE SURE THE OVEN IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE AC OUTLET. Sometimes the trouble is that the fuse holder doesn't grip the ends of the fuse tightly enough, and this causes heating which can damage the fuse. If the fuse seems loose in the holder, squeezing the spring clips inward to improve the grip and replacing the fuse may be all that's needed to fix the oven. If the fuse blows again it's a sign there is more wrong. If the fuse is good but the oven is dead, the trouble might be in the control circuit board.

Microwave ovens are dangerous, with hazardous voltages THAT CAN KILL YOU if you don't know what you're doing, so you may want to leave other diagnosing and repairs to a professional. If this is a basic countertop oven, you might find it cheaper just to replace it, since repair cost may be as much (or more) then the cost of a new one. For a high-end model, over the range or custom installation, repair may be worthwhile. I would suggest getting an estimate for the repair and then deciding what to do.

My Advantium over is approximately 9 years old. I heated up broccoli last night for dinner and then it just went out. There is completely no light on showing the time and I checked the breaker switch. Do...

check the wall socket to make sure you have electricity to the plug. Secondly then check to see of the appliance "fuse" has blown, simple repair. If not, you have a costly serious issue.

I have a 6150 it does nothing like the breaker is off

Probably a blown fuse. Disconnect, remove cover and replace the fuse with the exact same unit. Try unit. If the fuse blows again you probably need a new HV diode. About $5 at www.mcmelectronic.com . Simple to replace and straightforward if you have some mechanical/electrical ability. Certainly for the cost it is worth a try. Let me know how you make out.

My delonghi microwave mm821aan-x2 is not heating. the turnstable is working and the light too....is it a part i need to make it work?

Could be several things. Fuse blown to the magnetron circuit. Bad magnetron or fuse and HV diode blown to magnetron circuit. The fuses are only about $5 at www.mcmelectronic.com . If the unit is extremely old the magnetron could be bad but generally it is the fuse and HV diode. For the cost of the parts it would certainly be worth fixing if you have the ability. Let me know how it works out.

Microwave

You may have a blown internal fuse. While I would recommend that you take the unit to a qualified repair center, you can do a little troubleshooting on your own. You''ll need to unplug the unit, remove the outside cover and follow the line cord and you should find the fuse.

Replace it with the EXACT same value that was labeled on the original fuse. You'll probably be able to find a replacement fuse at any Radio Shack store or hardware store.

Replace the cover and plug the unit back in. Hopefully nothing was damaged and the unit will play again.

If the unit does not come back on, then there is a possibility that the unit's power supply has failed.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.

Good luck!
