Question about Aiwa Audio Shelf Systems
I have an Aiwa NSX - VC 38 Digital audio system. I cannot on the system. when plug to the supply, power LED shows low light. But when I press the power on off switch, a click sound ( relay ) appears . No lights in any of the display side. I try to switch on many times, it may switched on and work very well. What is the problem?
SOURCE: power turns off immedietly
Yeppers, when you where changing out those speakers, you shorted them and that in turn blew out the audio output IC inside this unit. This will require you to disassemble the unit, locate the blow output IC abd unsolder it, get a new audio output IC, put some heatsink compound on the back of the new IC, resolder the chip and reasassemble the unit. But before you turn on the unit, double check those speaker wires again to make sure they are not shorted as if they are, even one tiny strand, this unit will blow the IC again. Never work the speaker on any solid state electronic amp when they are plugged in and on. Good Luck

Well 1st unplug it then you can start by qtip cleaning, blowing internal maintenance service. But for the most part regardless of use or age whenever there is gears, bands moving parts which in time get worn, Now this is were keeping clean extends life, So time to shop for a new 1 because repairs and part availablity exceeds the value,of your problem

Make a note of how the belt fits, then remove it and measure the diameter. Then buy a replacement, belts do go bad from time to time, so a new one might cure the problem. Put the diameter size (to the nearest mm result, IE: 50 or 55mm, not 52mm! Into google and "cassette belt" and you should find one for the job.
