Mouse instalation problem
I have a mikomi mrf-20, when i plugged the usb receiver into the usb port the computor installed the driver software and tried searching for updates but failed, the light on the receiver flashes when the mouse is moved but the pointer dosn't move an inch.
It says that the product is compatible with vista on the box.
Please help anyone.

- SAME thing happened to me, what you need to do is open the 2 screws at the bottom of the reciever and then use a soldering iron or a glue gun to make sure that the head of the usb and the four metalic bits are touching if it isnt then yr pc will say that it is not recognised -mahmood age 12- trueiraqieeeJan 29, 2009

- I'm currently on my parents PC, and they have the same mouse "Mikomi MRF-20" installed. I left the PC for a few minutes and returned to find it on standby, and this 'amazing' mouse failed to work.If you turn off the mouse via the button underneath, and while it is off, press the button of the receiver, the light of it should flash repeatedly, use the button on the underside of the mouse again to turn it on, and the receiver light should stop flashing, and you regain control.
This is a shoddy peripheral in my view, and for anyone reading this having problems with it. I suggest you get yourself down to a store to purchase something sporting a modicum of support from the manufacturer. Eg. Constantly updated drivers, online technical support... y'know... the stuff that's a given with any manufacturer worth a little salt. (Microsoft, Logitech etc.) I recommend Microsoft’s optical, five button Intellimouse, which I shall be buying parents before my next visit. I notice this thing only costs a fiver, and I can understand why.- On-i
