Need to no how to getr in to the inner part of my washing machine. Is there clips holding? Will it pop open by pulling on it

If you are referring to a Whirlpool manufactured TOP LOADER (such as Kenmore, Estate, Roper, Frigidaire and some later model Maytags), the interior of the washer is accessed by removing the exterior washer case. The following link explains how:

Older Maytag and GE TOP LOADER interiors are commly accessed by locating the two retaining clip along the seam where the top panel meets the front of the washer (about 2 inches in from each side) and pushing in with a putty knife to depress. This releases the top and it can be lifted up. The access screws that hold the front panel in pace are now accessible and can be loosened to remove the front panel for full access to the interior.

If this is a FRONT LOADER, the interior is accessed on MOST models by removing the washer top panel. This is accomplished by removing the retaining screws that hold the top panel in place in the rear of the washer. This will allow access to the controls and dispenser. For access to the drain pump and drive components, you will need to remove the kick panel directly below the door. There are a series of retaining screws along the bottom front edge that hold the panel in place.

If none of these tips help, please post back with a MODEL NUMBER so that I may assist you further.

Need to replace drive belt on a Maytag top loading washer (SAV571EEWW). Canto figure out how to get to it. Is there a diagram? If you see the two fastners marks #7 that is the key to removing the front panel to getting access to the drive belt. A putting knife pressed in on those fasteners will release them and allow you to remove the panel.

How can i lift the top of the washer to clean around the top of the tub

Hi, thanks for using! It depends on the model you have, but most newer style Maytag washers have a clip on each side between the front panel and the top assembly. With a putty knife, depress the clips and the top should hinge up. On older Maytags, there are 2 Phillips screws at the bottom of the front panel to remove and the front panel comes off. Once removed, there are two 3/8" bolts that secure the lid to the cabinet. Good luck...

Trying to get the top up on maytag model #mdg7400aww. Need to get some nails out that was left in pocket & dryed. can you help.

For the model washer you have listed, there should be a a couple of retaining clips inside the front seam where the top panel meets the washer front. If you push a putty knife in the seam about 2 inches in from each side, you will be able to depress the retaining clips to release the top panel. With the retaining clips released, the top panel will open up exposing the mounting screws that hold the washer front in place. Remove the mounting screws and the entire washer front can be removed, giving you full access the washer interior. If you have any questions let me know. I hope this helps you.

How do I take the front cover off a Maytag MAV4755AWW washer to change the belt for spinning the drum?

Although I'm not familiar with that particular model, most Maytag washers have the belts under the washer (no need to remove the front panel) --- just tip the washer back and check to see if the belts are underneath.
