If you are using external speakers, the speakers must have a power adapter to power the speakers.

what type of motherboard you have? You need to refer on your motherboard diagram. The front panel usually for switch "On",Reset Button, and 2 LED (Indicator).

You need to go in the Sound setting control panel and disable the sensing - or enable the front connectors permanently, depending on what sound chip you have.

Check the setup manual which came with the motherboard. The connector configuration will be in there. If you do not have the book anymore look closely at the board until you find the F_Panel connectors and look to see if you can see any other markings which tell you where to connect each one.

My headphone"s mic is not working with rear and front panels and sound is scratchy also.

either the sound card is broken or you are just conecting it wrong. are you shure you have conected it in the red one?

It goes into detail to setup the aux input.

Plug iPod into front 3.5mm jack on front and follow the setup instructions.
