My pc cannot detect my k530i phone storage when connected to pc.but just can see the memory card storage.wat should i do now?

2.9.1 Using the microSD Card as USB Mass Storage
To transfer all your favorite music and pictures from your PC to your mobile phone's microSD card, set the microSD card as USB mass storage.
1. Connect your mobile phone to your PC with the USB cable provided. Your PC will detect the microSD card as a removable storage device.
2. Open the notification bar, and then touch USB connected.

8.3.1 Copying Music to the microSD Card
1. Connect the phone to your computer with a USB cable and mount the microSD card.
2. On the PC, navigate to the USB drive and open it.
3. Create a folder in the root directory of the microSD card (for example, Music).
4. Copy the music from your computer to the folder you have created.
5. After copying music, unmount or eject the drive as required by your PC's operating system to safely remove the mobile phone.
6. Disconnect the mobile phone from the PC.

When you connect your cell phone with the supplied USB cable and then connect it to your computer's USB port the computer should detect the cell phone as an USB storage device which you can then open to download to your computer.It this does not work then -
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB mass storage device oran external storage device, you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.

you can not increase the cell default massege storage...but you can have another option..you can select your memory card as msg storage....

just plug in the data cable from your phone to usb port on your laptop, then open setting from your phone and find pc connectivity then set as mass storage, it will detect your memory card of your phone to your pc, drag the music you want to my music folder in your memory card.

The correct way to format the memory card is to first change the USB port mode on the phone to File Transfer mode while it is disconnected from the Windows PC. Then connect the phone to Windows PC. It will be visible as a Disk Drive in Windows Explorer. Right Click and format it.

1. you can remove the memory card from your phone connect it to a card reader and format the memory card or scan for virus.
1. If you have a compatible cable to conect to PC then you can connect your phone is memory card mode (mass storage or data transfer mode) and then scan for virus. if the virus are detected from the anitvirus it's good else i would suggest you to format your memory card.

First let me know whether the memory card is detected by pc using PC suit.. If it does then ur adapter where ur inserting ur card is not working properly . get a new adapter and insert via memory card or 'direct' , it will work

A last resort would be to buy a memory card adapter to put the memory card into. You could also try to MMS them to your email address but you wiull not be able to fit many into one MMS.
