1-800-4DEWALT to find your nearest service center. They can also help you locate the date code to determine your warranty status. On the charger you should be covered for 3 years though.

Have the chargers been bouncing around in car or van with batterys in? if so u take it apart and you'll see the solder is broken on the circuit board just carefully solder it again and that should solve it.

The charger rearly fail. it must be the battery problem.have your battery tested also the switch of the drill.if the drill runs slower than use to be changed the switch.

Can you use 18v lithium battery in old 18v drill

Yes you can. On tools, 18 volts is 18 volts. Tools don't 'know' how the power is being created, either by Ni-Cad or Li-Ion means. Chargers are totally different. Most Li-Ion chargers can charge older Ni-Cad and some Ni-MH batteries but older Ni-Cad chargers will charge Li-Ion battery untill they overheat and sometimes start on fire because older chargers can't detect when the Li-Ion batteries are full.

MY 1HR CHARGER FOR MY BLACK AND DECKER 18 VOLT FIRESTORM DRILL IS NOT WORKING ANYMORE. CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?

you can go to Blackanddecker.com and buy a replacement, or go to any major store that sells B&D or DeWalt and but the replacement charger. I would recommend taking the old one with you to ensure the proper one is bought.

Can we use the new 18 volt litheum batttery on the old 18 volt drill

Are you asking if it will fit, or if it will work, or it it is safe?
I can't tell you if it will fit, or even if it will work, but I can tell you this--- If it fits, then go ahead and try. It won't hurt anything, but they may have put the contacts in different places, so it might not work. But do not try to charge a lithium battery on an old charger.

Can you use the 9 volt charger with the drill that says it takes 7.2 volts. This is the charger that came with it

THe charger should match the voltage on the battery or you will damage it. A 9 volt charger should not be used on a 7.2 volt drill.

WHERE CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT CHARGER FOR A GREATNECK DRILL?

I have to be the bearer of bad news. These are mass produced to give you the lowest price possible. They are made in Keorea/Taiwan and unfortunately do not make replacement parts. These are sold to any company that pays enough to put their name on it. Shop force makes the same drill and several other brands. So when something goes bad you have to replace the entire drill (only comes in the combo pk). You can't buy seperate pieces. Try shop force or Master craft. They're similar to what you have. Found one on Ebay. IF you keep looking you can probably find a seller with just the charger. Good luck

Charger not charging have 2 new chargers neither 1 will work for black& decker 18 volt cordless

You should probably contact Customer Service regarding this. I'd say it's a problem with the batteries rather than the chargers considering this looks like a recent EPC model - 1800 444 224
