Question about DeLonghi MW 605 Convection/Microwave Oven
Hi, not sure if it's a simple job or not, I have a Delonghi AC930AMQ Microwave and the interior light stopped working, so I opened the microwave up and found the bulb had burnt out, so I replaced it with another bulb from the oven which was the same type and i know works, it didn't work, so i checked the contacts of the lamp holder and pulled the center contact up to make sure of a good contact with bulb, still no luck, then i checked with a meter and there is no neutral only about 12 volts between live & neutral but live to earth reads 240 volts, any ideas?
Found the problem, there is a printed fuse link on the control panel pcb. I soldered a suitable sized copper wire to replace the burnt out link and all is fine now. It is also the fuse link for the turntable aswell. Thanks for your help though, L Smith

Managed to figure out what the problem was ,I was a bit heavy handed with the solder/flux which caused a short cleaned up the area around the solder joints and now working great

The bulb is usually run by one of the door switches, but in some cases they are run by a relay on the board.
I would suggest you look over our files on safety & door switches here:
