Question about Breadman TR900S Bread Maker

1 Answer

Breadman Pro TR900S does not begin kneading AT ALL!

I have a Breadman Pro TR900S. I have only made bread in it a few times, but now it will not do a thing. I have it plugged in, and the screen allows me to put in my settings, but as soon as I push start nothing happens. The timer does not start to count down and the machine does not knead. I have taken out the pan and made sure that it was in correctly and it was. The blade is also in place. Could this be the motor in it?

I just bought my breadman Pro and have followed all the directions. Is the machine suppose to start mixing right away? I have put in all the information and pressed Start, and the timer says 3:43, the little ":" is flashing and there is an errow next to "preheat". Am I suppose to wait for something? I checked the intructions again and nothing was said about having to wait for the mixing to start.

This sucks! Any clue how to fix it?

I just purchased the breadman. Turned it on yesterday to burn off oils, etc. Today I want to make some bread and it will not start. I pushed the start hard, but nothing.

We bought ours a little over a year ago @ Target - only used it maybe 4-5 times and now it won't do anything. Timer just sits there and it never kicks off... too bad, because we really liked it before this happened.

The Tech hotline says they don't stock replacement parts so even if they find out what's wrong with it, no one can fix it. "You'll need to replace the machine with the current model"... Niiiiiice.

I can't promise you that this is the solution, but some of the cycles have a relatively long preheat cycle where the bread machine just sits there. Make sure that you are on cycle #1 and it should start kneeding right away.

Hi Jean, I hope I can help you find your paddle. Did you lose your paddle or did you buy a machine without one. Or perhaps yours broke?

Sounds like you might need a new belt. If it works ok with nothing in it but wont when the dough is in there

Bread Machine not kneading

This site has bands/belts for breadmakers. I am buying my new paddle for the tr900s breadman pro from there. Perhaps your belt is broken? I personally have never replaced one, but it should not be too hard. Make sure you unplug the breadmaker before opening it up at all.

Try running the breadmaker with no pan in it and see if the paddle shaft turns at all during the cycle. Also, the paddle will not turn at all in the first 30 minutes of certain cycles, like the whole wheat. This is stated on the time chart of the instruction manual for this model.

Hope this helps!
