To unlock insert these codes & try (by inserting the sim which to be unlocked)

*2767*688#
#*7337#
*2767*3855#
*2767*2878#

try all this codes in any 1 of them it will get unlocked ...

if the same problem persists then just give restore factory settings (reset) after this it will surely work .....

any doubts you can reply me

just open your handset inside there will be the network pin if that
will not be in contact with the circuit board means you will not get
    the network ...
i think it is not in contact just make it to contact the circuit board ...
that s it you will get the network ...

you might be thinking that your handset is able to search the other network
but actually it is searching but if you insert the sim card of the
other network provider you will get the signal but if the network is of
full signals you may get some 1 r 2 points this is because of that
    loose contact inside

  • Dileep Keshavanarayana
    Dileep Keshavanarayana Jul 05, 2008

this is happening because as the pins are in loose contact it is not
touching the board fully so it is not able to search the frequency of
    your network provider ..
only it is searching the networks which has full strength right now in the place where you are staying ...

  • Dileep Keshavanarayana
    Dileep Keshavanarayana Jul 05, 2008

if the signal is in full strength also it will not show the full signals it will show half of the signal that s all ...

just open the handset if you are good at opening then take of the
network pins & check the point where it touches the circuit board
clean it with some alcohol solvents like spirit & just fit it
correctly after that you will be able to get all the networks ....

    this solves your problem ....

i think now you can rate the solution ....

it also happens if there is some problem in the firmware due to that the network has just got hanged ...
so once you give reset(restore factory settings) then try to call & tell me the reply ...

it may also happen if there is some problem in the network pin ....
or it may also happen if there is some problem by the network provider only ...

Samsung D900 spare phone no serv. provdr wants PUK code

The PUK is associated to SIM card, and not to the phone. Just put a new Orange SIM card on the D900.

If the D900 is locked to Orange and your friend want to use a different SIM on it, that that can instead be done at any local phone shop for a small fee.

I want to lnow my PUK code for my Samsung D900 on vodafone, with the SIM card on orange

The Puk number depends on the pin lock on the sim, the phone will still work with a different Sim card.

To unlock the Puk code you need to call the contact number for the service provider for your Sim. Alternatively you can unlock the PUK code at a local shop for a small fee, £10 or £20 in UK.

To unlock PUK, call the company that branded your Sim card.

If you are in UK, contact is below, otherwise use google to find contact number in your area.

I got a new Samsung Tocco and am trying to put the sim card in from my old phone as I am wanting to keep the same number. My network is o2. When I put my old sim in my new phone it is asking for a password...

its the password to unlock the phone from the network that you bought it from! (probably vodafone) if you ring that network and tell them you are dissatisfied with their service they should honour you the password which will allow you to put the 02 sim in and use it! hope this helps!

the PUK code goes with your SIM card not your phone, you can get the PUK code from your phone company, or a new SIM card.
