either your speakers knackered, or the sound is right down, usually this can only be turned up whilst in a call.

I can hardly hear when i receive or make calls i need to know how to turn up the volume on my nokia 2640 phone

There are actually a couple of different ways to do this. While you are on the call, and while you are not. If you go into the phones menu and select settings, and then sounds, you will be able to goto speaker volume and turn the sound up. If you are on the call, you can use the volume control key, which is either on the side of the phone, or you can use the navigational key pad to turn the volume up.

For incoming calls the phone rings but I cannot hear the caller. The volume is set to the maximum. For outgoing call I cannot hear the ring tone nor the person receiving the call.

Sounds like you reciever speaker is out. It might be cheaper to get a new phone than fix this one. Check with out a local cell repair store to see what they charge then make an informed decision.

I HEAR MY CALLS ON AN I9 PHONE VERY LOW, ONLY MY CALLS

Hi!

You might want to go under settings and check to make sure that the volume limit is off, or that it is able to go to the maximum (under settings, ipod).

Try to put your headphone in and out for about 3 times in locked mode, then try the click sound, it should appear, if not try it several more times ;)

Please ask for any clarifications
Thanks

Samsung T629 I can't hear the person on the other end of call

The problem could be due to some contact error in the headphone jack of ur phone. Please re insert the headphone and remove it. Now try making a call with the speaker volume put to maximum. Dont forget to rate the solution. Thank You..

Their could potentially be a problem with your Phone speaker, have you made sure you have call volume turned on/up !? when in a call, press the volume adjustment buttons on the side of the phone and a small window should pop up saying Volume. if the call volume is up but there is still a problem with your phone, i would seek professional help from either Sony ericsson or your Mobile phone Carrier
