Question about Apple iMac 24" Desktop
I have had my computer for a little over 6 months. And stupid me deleted the mac off my mac by using boot camp and downloading windows xp over the mac partition. i was wondering if there is any way for me to fix this on my own. I do not have leopard full version I only have the upgrade. I dont want to spend the 130 bucks if i can take it back to best buy or fix it myself. But it is still under warranty i think so should I take it back to best buy and have them restore it.. or would they even do that? hope fullly someone can help me.
Take it to the genius bar at the apple store.
if you can carry it in your car

Do you have the original install disks? You can start from there and reinstall and rebuld. It is still going to take some time. Insert the DVD and restart. Hold down the C key and follow the instructions to reinstall everything.
You might want to think about getting an external HD for TImeMachine in the future. If you have a TimeMachine backup Volume you could restore using the upgrade disk and your TimeMachine volume.
