You can install Windows 2003 using IBM Service Guide CD. Its an image file (.iso) . Burn it after download . Then boot from cd and follow the simple wizard . Find the link below

try other good known hard disk install it on your server, if it detect the presence of that disk then your hard disk previously installed has the problem, it going to be defective sooner or already defective

The problem is with the raid controller . Either the controller is faulty or it is due to dust or happen some shake. To rectify this issue do the following
1: Switch off the server 2: Remove the Raid controller from the server and clean the dust . ( Please Don't touch with hand just blow air ) 3: Clean the Controller slot 4: Refix the Controller and power on the server . 5: Check whether the controller is booting or not . 6: If you gets same problem then replace the controller

In order to install Windows 2003 , you need Ibm Server Gide cd . Boot from the cd and follow the wizard

Its a image file . So after download burn image to cd and boot from cd.

The install is fairly easy. Before you begin make sure if you have SCSI adaptors installed have the drivers for them on hand. If you do not have these drivers you should download them to a 1.4MB floppy disk. When you are ready, put the Windows Server disk in the cd/dvd and reboot the IBM. Follow the instructions on screen and you shoud be fine. From start to finish it should take you about 1 1/2 hours to complete everything.

Have you checked the IBM website for BIOS and any firmware to download and update for the controller? It can get to be a maze with server cards.

you will need to add the new drive to your array bbfore it will how up to be formated do this throught the array configuration util

You need to give windows installation the drivers for your Sata-Bus by pressing F6 while the installation load the drivers (like when we want to install on RAID drive). or do the following method follow the links in that page for Slipstreaming VIA Serial ATA drivers and the other link to create a boot CD Creating a bootable Windows CD with Nero.
