Well if it stops working at 32 % ,were the power of a low percentage is not reaching the full capacity for the camera

seems like the battery its self is dying at a low percentage like the cells are dying if you get a new battery this will be 100% back to normal
happened the same to mine but when mine got to 15%

a three month old camera should not behave like this, the motor is not working efficiently so the better option is to replace it.

Model PL81. Why does it zoom, beep, and shut down?

Are you positive that the battery is good? Turning on for a few seconds and then shutting down is a classic symptom of a battery that did not take a proper charge and as soon as the surface charge is used, unit will shut down. And what if your charger is not properly charging the battery?

If you have a battery eliminator try that in lieu of the battery to see what happens.

I cant turn on my camera even if the battery is full charge....

The symptoms are those of an internal hardware failure. The camera starts up, indicating that it is powered. Then it shows the splash screen, which says that the LCD is working. Then the camera crashes while doing the initial test, when all part of the camera are powered and checked.

When it fails this way it is usually defective main board. A short in wiring to lens or a shorted lens motor may cause the same thing. Before sending the camera for repair, check the following.

Test using a different battery . You can go to a camera shop and ask testing battery.
If you are using ordinary batteries, ensure that they are Alkaline. Replace with fully charged.

Try starting the camera with no memory card. A shorted SD card may cause the same thing.

Check if the lenses are stuck half the way through.

Remove batteries; point lens to the floor; hold down the on button; reinsert batteries while holding the button; release button (power reset).

If all that does not work, then the camera must be repaired. In that case call manufactured to get a quote on repair. You can get a quote from a third party here:Repair.

Hello samsung l310w camera still does not work. this time the lens does not come out, when i turn on the camera. when i turn on the camera all it does is beeps twice and then turns itself off. please help,...

If you have recently dropped the camera you may have damaged the lens tube (housing). This damage will prevent the lens from moving properly and will cause the camera to shut itself off after a few seconds. If the lens is damaged the camera will require professional repair. If the lens is not damaged, the problem may be battery related. Make sure that you have the correct battery type installed, and that the batteries are fresh/fully charged. If the problem persists, you may have corrosion on the battery contacts inside that camera that is preventing full battery power from flowing to the camera. Remove the batteries and wipe the inside camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sand paper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and reinstall them in the camera. This cleaning solves the problem about 90% of the time, and I hope it works for you.

My cybershott70 won't turn on

Dear Sir,

The problem could be with your camera to battery connections. The
The secret to making digital cameras work better is having good electrical contacts between the batteries and the camera.

Digital cameras require lots of power. If electrical contacts are not really good, this can cause lots of problems so battery and camera contacts must be cleaned properly. Batteries may be fully charged, but will be viewed as low if contacts are not really good. The LCD display is a low steady load, but when lens extension, optical zoom, focus, and flash charging are added in the capture mode; the load is very heavy. With bad contacts, cameras do strange things like making bad pictures or shutting off with the lens out. 1) Make sure that the batteries are in good condition
2) Check and clean any dirt or corrosion from the battery terminals.

If the power supply voltage suddenly drops during initialization,
or when the lens is trying to extend itself, it could produce this
kind of error.

3) Make sure that the lens extension tubes are not mechanically
jammed.

4) Remove the batteries, turn the unit ON and wait for it to fully
discharge any internal capacitors, then put the batteries back
and try to turn the unit back on. This should fully RESET the
internal CPU.
===

Generally this kind of error means that the camera's internal
computer is trying to activate the lens zooming motors, but
the motors fail to move as expected.

Other causes could be:
a) burned out ZOOM motors
b) burned out motor drive circuitry
c) bad motor positioning sensor
d) defective computer components
e) failed internal firm-ware.

none of these cause are user fixable.

Hope this helps
Martin

Lens is stuck open

We had the same problem with a Casio Exilim. Had been stuck for months...had nearly given up until I saw another post about banging the camera pretty forcefully to get the lens unstuck. I hit it once on the bottom onto my desk(w/ paper and blotter on the desk-so soft), then twice with the back of the camera against the desk. I turned it on and the lens was unstuck!! Immediately took a couple pictures and it seems to be working fine! If the camera may be lost, you've got nothing to lose to try this out...Good luck!
