My Acer monitor will nnnot come on, it just keeps blinking. what can I do?

Did you tried changing the lcd settings to default?

Power board problem, in all probability capacitor failure. Needs the capacitors checking and replacing, but will probably be cheaper to get another monitor

Please disable the User Account Control feature.
You can disable the UAC from User Accounts in Control Panel. Also, reinstlal the Video Driver to resolve the issue

that may be the problem of cpu disconnect the signal cable and observe the massage that "no signal check the signal cable "if that massege appears then monitor is ok problem lies in the cpu

Most likely means your monitor is shot. Either the power supply crapped out or maybe a capacitor. Either way, if that's the case then you're going to need a new one because it's definitely too expensive to repair it.

Check the Data card which connect from monitor to CPU Video adoptor

You may have inverter problem or your bulb is due for using so bright.
Try to lower this using power option on control panel by accessing
advance button for display setting. (Color manangment)
see what you can do, But end of it you may need to change bulb in LCD. soon will not even blinking.
DoNOT do it your self, Contains MERCURY, it is HighPower around there such 100Volts. See Expert or contact me. It is very dangerous and if you are not expert you may break your LCD.

If the button on monitor is blinking, it means your computer is either turned off or in standby mode (or in hybernation).
You should push the power button on your computer to restore it from standby (or hybernation).

I have not solved the problem of the blinking on off switch, but I have solved the problem of the monitor attached to my laptop waiting so long to start up. I never shut down the computer and I never hibernate it either. I leave it on 24 hours a day.

I recently had the same problem occur on my LCD Panel and this is the response I received from ACER.
