My Internet explorer page will not load correctly and all the items on the page are boxed and displayed incorrectly

    It might be related to your internet. do check your speed and also check if it is a problem with all the sites.

Hi,

go to tools>>internet options>>there u can see temperory internet files..now click on delete cookies and click on delete files....click apply and ok..restart the computer...it should work..if still same means u can install Mozilla Firefox so that u will get a permanant solution

After you upgrade to Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) in Microsoft Windows XP SP2, some SSL-secured (128-Bit) Web pages and Web sites may not work correctly. Frequently, this behavior is caused by security changes in Windows XP SP2. To determine why the pages do not display correctly, use the following methods in the order that they are presented.
Turn off the pop-up blocker
Internet Explorer SP2 includes the ability to block pop-up windows. This new feature may block some Web pages. To turn off the Pop-Up Blocker, follow these steps: 1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, and then click the General tab.
2. Click the Privacy tab.
3. In the Pop-Up Blocker section, click to clear the Block pop-ups check box.
4. Click Apply.
5. Click OK.
Delete the contents of the Temporary Internet Files folder
If a copy of the Web page is in the Temporary Internet Files folder, the page may not display as expected. To resolve this problem, you must delete the contents of this folder. To do this, follow these steps: 1. On the Tools menu in Internet Explorer, click Internet Options, and then click the General tab.
2. Click Delete Cookies, and then click OK.
3. Click Delete Files, and then click OK.
4. Click Clear History, and then click Yes.

Use the System File Checker (Sfc.exe) tool together with the /scannow parameter to immediately scan and verify the versions of all the system files that Windows File Protection helps protect. Third-party browser extensions

4. In the Profiles stored on this computer list, click the user profile that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
5. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
6. Click OK two times.
7. Log off the computer as Administrator, and then log on as the user. Windows XP will then create a new profile for the user.

Syntax errors are the most common problem for developers. A single syntax error can cripple even the best applications and websites. You can correct syntax errors easily once you find them. Typical errors include missing commas, semicolons and parenthesis. Debuggers are available in many software development kits to aid you in the location of syntax errors. However, you can find and correct syntax errors manually as well. Learning how to correct syntax errors is an essential part of being a software developer.

Locate the syntax error manually. Step through each section of your code. Most code will be sectioned off into groups or functions. Carefully proof your code. Be sure to pay close attention to how lines are grouped. A common syntax mistake is incorrect grouping.

For instance, if you have an If Else statement embedded in another If Else statement, be sure the embedded statement is surrounded by a separate set of parenthesis or brackets, depending on your language. Double-check notes sections. Notes are only for the developer to see. However, if the syntax isn't correct, the notes may become part of your application, which may not agree with existing code. Ensure the syntax around your notes is correct. Run a debugger if possible. This will make locating errors much easier. A debugger will be found under a menu such as Debug, Run or Tools or as part of your SDK's toolbar. Allow the debugger to run. Errors will be listed at the bottom or right side of your screen. Many debuggers will highlight possible errors in your code as well. A line number, along with the possible error, will be listed in the error message. Locate your syntax error if the debugger isn't correct. Sometimes a debugger will show you where your application stopped working correctly. The syntax error itself may be above or below the line listed in the debugger message. Check all syntax within the surrounding area, especially within the line's function. Run your application after correcting the syntax error. Check every possible function of your application to ensure it works correctly. If you find a problem, double-check the syntax in your code that surrounds the problem area. For instance, if your application has a log-in screen that isn't accepting passwords correctly, check the code for the log-in screen. Remove Syntax Error syntax error typically occurs when the Web page you are loading causes a script error in the browser. This is caused by incorrect code that displays an error message or results in a Web page that does not load correctly. You can remove a syntax error by making a change to the settings of your Web browser. Common Web browsers that can experience this type of error include Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Safari.
Double-click the "Internet Explorer" icon to open the program. Click the "Tools" drop-down menu and select "Internet Options." This will display the Internet Options window. Go to the "Advanced" tab and scroll down to the "Browsing" section. Remove the check from the box for "Disable script debugging (Internet Explorer)," "Disable script debugging (Other)" and "Display a notification about every script error." Click the "Apply" button to save the changes. Click the "OK" button to close the Internet Options window. Close and restart the Internet Explorer browser for the changes you made to take effect. b> Mozilla Firefox b> Double-click the "Mozilla Firefox" icon to open the program. Whereas Internet Explorer is a very popular browser, you may have problems with it from time to time. Internet Explorer has been known to either randomly shut down or close pages. This can be extremely irritating, especially if you are in the middle of a project. Use these tips to fix Internet Explorer if it keeps closing Web pages.

Start by deleting your browsing history. Open Internet Explorer and click the "Safety" tab found in the top right corner of the Web browser. Then, choose the "Delete Browsing History" option. A box will appear on the computer screen. Make sure that there are checkmarks next to each option listed in the box. Click the "Delete" tab to delete the browsing history. Move to the next step if Internet Explorer keeps closing pages. Internet Explorer is not working. What I can do to get it back. I try different thing to get it back, but it was imposible. My son was plaing and delate internet explorer.


To reset Internet Explorer settings
  1. Close any Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer windows that are currently open.

  4. Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.

  5. Select the Delete personal settings check box if you would like to remove browsing history, search providers, Accelerators, home pages, and InPrivate Filtering data.

  6. In the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box, click Reset.

  7. When Internet Explorer finishes restoring the settings, click Close, and then click OK.

  8. Close Internet Explorer.

    Your changes will take effect the next time you open Internet Explorer.

Notes
  • If you close all visible windows, but still get an error message when trying to reset, you might have programs running that are not visible. Restart Windows, open Internet Explorer, and try resetting again.

  • To back up your home page or home page set before resetting Internet Explorer defaults, see Back up your home page or home page tabs.

  • If any of the categories fail to reset, it is because Internet Explorer could not access a file or registry setting. This can be caused by insufficient security privileges, files or settings being used by another program, or low memory or high CPU usage. You can either continue to use Internet Explorer without restoring these settings, or restart your computer and try to reset again.

  • If you are using Internet Explorer on a server and have turned off Enhanced Security Configuration or hardening (stronger security settings for use on servers), reset will go to client-level security. Im not getting a compete picture when my computor is on theinternet.


To correct this issue, follow the methods that are described in this section in the order in which they are presented until the issue is resolved.

These methods are designed for beginning to intermediate computer users. After each method, refresh Internet Explorer to check whether the problem is resolved. If the problem is not resolved, try the next method. Method 1: See whether pictures are available on another Web site loadTOCNode(3, 'resolution'); Sometimes the link to a picture on a Web site is broken, and that is why a picture is not being displayed. Visit another Web site to determine whether pictures are being displayed correctly on it. If they are being displayed correctly, then there is nothing wrong with Internet Explorer. Instead, the Web site that you are visiting might be broken.

If you can view pictures on another Web site, you are finished. If you do not see any pictures or if you cannot determine whether the Web site that you are visiting is broken, try clearing your temporary Internet files by using method 2.

Note If you use Internet Explorer 8, try Compatibility View. To do this, start Internet Explorer 8, click Compatibility View Settings on the Tools menu, and then add the Web site that you want to view by using Compatibility View. Method 2: Clear temporary Internet files loadTOCNode(3, 'resolution'); Clearing your temporary Internet files creates more space on your hard disk. If your hard disk is close to being full, this could affect your ability to view pictures on a Web site.

To clear temporary Internet files, follow these steps:

Internet Explorer 8
  1. Start Internet Explorer 8.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. On the General tab, click Delete under Browsing History.
  4. In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click to clear all of the check boxes except for the Temporary Internet Files check box, and then click Delete.
  5. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
Internet Explorer 7
  1. Start Internet Explorer 7.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Delete Browsing History.
  3. In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click Delete Files.
  4. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
Internet Explorer 6 and earlier versions
  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. On the General tab, click Delete Files under Temporary Internet files.
  3. Click to select the Delete all offline content check box, and then click OK.
  4. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
Check whether you can now see pictures. If you still cannot see pictures, try method 3. Method 3: Verify that the Show Pictures option has not been turned off loadTOCNode(3, 'resolution'); If the Show Pictures option in Internet Explorer is turned off, you cannot see pictures. To determine whether the Show Pictures option is turned off, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. Click the Advanced tab, and then verify that the Show Pictures check box is selected under Multimedia.
  3. Click OK.
Determine whether you can now see pictures

Method 1: Disable script debugging loadTOCNode(3, 'whattotry'); If the only sign of a problem is the error message, and Web sites are working, you can probably ignore the error. Also, if the problem only happens on one or two Web pages, it might be a problem with those pages. If you decide to ignore the errors, you can disable script debugging.

Note If this problem occurs on more than one or two sites, do not disable script debugging. Go to method 2 now.

To turn off the Scripting Debugger in Internet Explorer 6, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. On the Advanced tab, click to select the Disable script debugging check box. and then click OK .
To turn off notification about every script error in Internet Explorer 7, follow these steps:
  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  2. On the Advanced tab, click to clear the Display a notification about every script error check box, and then click OK.
Method 2: Test a Web page from another user account, another browser, and another computer loadTOCNode(3, 'whattotry'); Use another user account, another browser, or another computer to view the Web pages that triggered a script error to determine whether the problem persists. If the script error persists, there may be a problem with the way the Web page is written. You can probably ignore the error and disable script debugging as described in method 1.

If the script error does not occur when you view the Web page from another user account, browser, or computer, the problem may be caused by files or by settings on your computer. Go to method 3 to continue to troubleshoot. Method 3: Verify that Active Scripting, ActiveX, and Java are not being blocked by Internet Explorer loadTOCNode(3, 'whattotry'); Active scripting, ActiveX, and Java are all involved in shaping the way information displays on a Web page. If these are blocked on your computer, it may disrupt the display of the Web page. Reset the Internet Explorer security settings to make sure these are not blocked. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the Security tab.
  4. Click Default Level.
  5. Click OK.
Note ActiveX controls and Java programs are turned off at the High security level in Internet Explorer.

Try to open a Web page where you previously received a scripting error. If you do not receive the error, the issue is resolved. If the issue persists, go to Method 4. Method 4: Remove all the temporary Internet-related files loadTOCNode(3, 'whattotry'); Every time that you open a browser to view a Web page, your computer stores a local copy of that Web page in a temporary file. If the size of the temporary Internet files folder becomes too large, some display problems may occur when you open Web pages. Periodically clearing the folder might help resolve the issue.

To remove all the temporary Internet-related files from your computer when you use Internet Explorer 6, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Under Temporary Internet files, click Settings.
  5. Click Delete Files, and then click OK.
  6. Click Delete Cookies, and then click OK.
  7. Under History, click Clear History, and then click Yes.
  8. Click OK.
To remove all the temporary Internet-related files from your computer when you use Internet Explorer 7, follow these steps:
  1. Start Internet Explorer.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
  3. Click the General tab.
  4. Under Browsing History, click Delete, and when you are prompted, click Yes to confirm.

Error code 80048820


MSN Message error 80048820, unable to signin

Problems:
- While you try to Sign in MSN Messenger you getting an error message with the no. 80048820
- Unable to Sing in

Probably reasons-
- Your system time/date incorrect
- Internet Proxy setting incorrect
- softpub.dll disable/missing
- Firewall does not allow to access, etc.

Solution-

Step#1

- Remove Internet Explorer proxy server settings and check the 'Automatically detect settings'.
- Launch Internet Explorer, click "Tools" and then click Internet Options. From the Internet Options dialog box, go to the Connections tab. Click LAN Setting. Uncheck the Use a proxy server for your LAN checkbox. Finally tick/check: 'Automatically detect settings'.

Step#2
- Correct the computer system's Time/Day as current (if required).

Step#3
- Click Start (Button), and then click Run, type regsvr32 softpub.dll click ok.

Step#4
- Turn off the firewall. Check firewall settings such as Norton: "Block access to secure sites". If this cures the problem, make sure that Microsoft's MSN Messenger is allowed full access through your firewall.

Hello,
Go to control panel and open Internet Options. The first page that pops up will have a section that says Home Page. Type your home page that you want (e.g. http://www.google.com) and click APPLY and then click OK.
