Question about Hotpoint FFA70 Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
I have checked and cleared the ice behind the panel in the freezer. Then ran the freezer and it appears that freezer matrix is getting cold, but I have not heard or seen the fan operate in the last few days since this alarm has come on. What other things should I check for?
Can you check the resistance of the fan?..or even the voltage going to the fan ( just be carefull ) if there is presence of voltage, then the problem is the fan, if there is none, you have to trace why. if it has a diagram, you an trace it. or the switch could have been open that is why it is not running. push the door switch if it has one and check again for presence of voltage. i hope i was able to help.
