If you can view it with internet explorer, then it was downloaded to your temporary internet explorer files (cache). You can find the directory where the temporary files are stored here:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR-USERNAME\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
On Internet Explorer 7.0 click on:
On Browsing History click on Settings and then View files.
Search for the file in question and then copy it to your desktop or any other folder.
