If your refrigerator has a defrost timer it could have failed while in the defrost position . If you can locate the timer, it has a clutch head screw so it can only be rotated clockwise. Rotate the screw until you hear an audible click and the compressor should restart cooling.

Call the people you bought the unit from and ask for service. It normally is covered for the first year on all parts.

GE Fridge - the freezer is stuck. I've had it unplugged for about 3 days now, pouring warm water in a small crack at the top and the drawer isn't budging! HELP!

If there is a big block of ice in there it will take a little longer than 3 days to defrost because it is well insulated and sealed by the gasket. Aim for 4 to 5.

Why are only drawers in fridge cold & not making ice?

Contact a professional. Sounds like either your damper door is not operating correctly and not letting enough cool air from the freezer enter, or there is an air leak that is making ice form .

Bosch fridge freezer - ice build up and water leak from freezer

Hi,
This is most likely a blocked drain pipe - blocked with ice that is.

Remove all the drawers in the freezer - and stack them up.
With the unit switched off and unplugged, undo the fixings on the rear pannel in the freezer (behind the drawers)
Remove it to see the evaporator coils etc.
At the base there should be a channel - and a hole leading to the drain pipe. This needs unblocking wih a thin flexible cable. -net curtain support wire is ideal, and cheap. or use a short length of insulated cable.
Check it comes out at the rear of the unit onto the evaporator container - situated on top ofthe compressor.
Replace everything and switch on.

Water on the bottom shelf of the Refridgerator

Has the refrigerator got a wet inner back?
Ff this is wet, adjust it until this solid ice 'blobs', bt not encrusted, like in a freezer
The refrigerator may not be cool enough and the natural warm moisture allowed into the cool compartment when the door is open is condensing into fluid before it is cooling sufficiently to suspend the moisture as a vapour. If the cool compartment is cool enough, any warm air admitted ill be chilled before it is allowed to condense, keeping the refridgerator dry.
However, the only drawback is that you will have to monitor it to prevent the build up of excesive ice.
Also, whether the refridgerator is either empty of full willaffe the day to day operation.
Hope this helps.

Hotpoint FFS70 fridge problem with draws.

Not sure which drawers you are talking about BUT have you tried switching over the two crisper drawers? They are not interchangeable, i.e. there is only one way the will fit inside the fridge.

Freezer Drawer Stuck

Our 550 bottom freezer drawer froze shut earlier this week and the motor made an unusual sound, like it was working too hard. Two of us eventually were able to open the drawer to find that it had frozen shut due to a leak which filled the ice tray solid and then adhered to the actual door, freezing it shut. We emptied the fridge and freezer, turned the control dials down to 0, but neither the motor nor the light would go off. We finally killed the circuit breaker to get the appliance to shut down. It's cleaned and defrosted and we noticed that the gasket has torn in three places, two on the fridge door and one on the freezer door. The freezer door could be from our tugging, but the refrigerator door is normal wear and tear. We filled the tears with some kind of putty and when it is dry we will start everything up again. This is not the first problem of this nature we have experienced with our subzero 550, but it is the most dramatic. Each previous time we have called a repair man out and he has been unable to fix it.
