Press
the "Off/Clear' button to cancel anything on the display, and reset the
microwave. This is a soft reset and will simply get you out of any
program you have started. Press it when the cooking complete reminder
appears on the display.
Perform
a hard reset. Pull the plug out of the wall power supply, and wait a
moment. Plug the microwave back into the wall power supply to reset
any anomalies with the microwave's memory. You will need to reset the
time of day if you perform a hard reset.
Reset
the time of day. Press the "Clock" button, and turn the dial to set the
hours. Press the dial to enter. Follow the same procedure for the
minutes and a.m. or p.m. Press the "Start" button to start the clock. This should help fix the problem.
You really need the instruction manual for this model to provide you with full information on how to work it, however the recipes will probably be the same as printed in any other Prestige PC that works at 15/10/5 psi.
I have a copy of a 12 page brochure entitled 'Pressure Cooking - The Fact and the Fiction' that Prestige produced when this model was first introduced. In there there is one page of instructions and illustrations devoted to the Automatic. This gives the following four steps :
1. Put your ingredients in - and the liquid.
2. Secure the lid and set the switch. Turn heat up full.
3. When pressure is reached, set timer, move switch to AUTO, lower the heat.
4. When the bell rings, turn heat off - cooker will release steam automatically. Open and serve.
When you turn on the hobs main power, press the the rear left hand element pad at the same time and the lock will come off.
press the centre minus button and the bottom right plus button at the same time it will work if not keep trying
You have to hold down the centre sensor button with the minus on and the sensor which turns on the bottom right ring immediatley after turning the hob on. It should unlock, then press the minus again the hob switchs off when you now switch on there will be no lock
if its heating at all then its a primary control problem if there is no heating of food at all then the magnatron has birned out and needs replacing the part is worth more then the whole microwave replace the microwave
Hi, your thermocouple is faulty, it is the little probe like thingy that sticks up into the pilot flame. It is there for safety purposes, detects flame and holds a valve open magnetically to allow the gas to pass through. Try giving it a clean with a scourer, sometimes works, or your pilot flame is not big enough, could be low on gas or unit needs a service
