Laptop is locked with a password and I can't remember it

If you mean a hdd password, purchase a new hdd as there is no recovery from that. If you mean windows password, there is software available on the internet that will overcome that. It is fairly expensive!

To reset forgotten windows vista password with Smartkey Windows Password Recovery.

Step 1: Download Windows Password Recovery software from http://www.recoverlostpassword.com/products/windowspasswordrecovery.html and install it.
Step 2: Burn a bootable Windows Password Recovery CD/DVD or Windows Password Recovery USB flash drive with the program.
Step 3: Reset Windows Password to blank with the burned CD/DVD or USB, then resetting windows password and regain access to your locked computer.

How to unlock toshiba satellite laptop BIOS and HDD

If you are the original owner Toshiba will reset the bios for a fee and it is not cheap, they may include the HDD reset, if not! www.ebay.com type password, or hard drive password. I would check bios password, probably a lot cheaper if you can find the right seller, also check www.download.com some software may be free.

Had a problem with Toshiba Satellite A205-S5800. Could not remember password, or the laptop created a new password after 3 tries at trying to remember. Ran recovery disc, and now the HDD password box...

Power the laptop off. Unplug it. Remove the battery. Turn it over. Open the bottom panels. Look for a small battery. Unplug this battery. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. RE-Assemble everything. Turn it back on - hopefully it has cleared the settings and you will be prompted to enter the BIOS.

I dont know the hdd 0 or hardrive password and am locked out of my laptop

The recovery/removal of a hdd password is a professional job, extremely expensive. Just buy a new one and reinstall, your data is lost anyway.

lost windows password? There are 4 methods to recover windows password:
Method 1: Take a rest, and try hard to remember the forgotten password
Method 2: Try No Password Administrator Login Backdoor
Method 3: Reset password from another user account with administrator
credentials
Method 4: Do-It-Yourself (DIY) third party recovery tool
Such as Windows Password Recovery 6.0
I used it and succeed to log in.

Hdd password

If it's an HDD password they are very difficult to remove. Most Data Recovery places charge 200 to remove them. You can try contacting Toshiba to see if they can help.

If you tell them that you have never installed an HDD password they might fix it for free ;)

Hiya i have ths new laptop well its not new i got it off my step dad and when i i turned it on it was asking for a primary master hdd user password and i have ask him what tha means and he just says that...

Unfortunately if he does not remember the HDD password you will not get it to boot unless there is a supervisor password that he remembers so it can be over ridden. Based on what you have alluded to in your request I doubt you have that either. The simplest solution is to purchase a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system from the original recovery disks. Without the HDD password the disk is basically unusable and never will be.

You can purchase a new IDE HD for about US $50 off the internet at a site like buy.com or newegg.com. I am not recommending either but just as examples of where you could get the item.
