The tray won't open. (There a few CDs in it.)

On most CD draws there is a pin hole if you look carefully you may see it, get yourself a paper clip and push into the hole this should open the draw, make sure all is unplugged, but you knew that right) Good luck.

Cd locked

Hello there..

If the cd is stuck in the device, here is how you take it out.

You should be able to see a small hole near the eject button, you need to stick a pin into the hole while gently pulling out the trey. There will be no damage done, this hole is there fore this sole purpose. Hope this can be of help.

Best regards
Andrea

The repair shop suggests sending my cd player to the manufacturer. How do I find out where and if possible? Can't get loading tray to open - seems jammed. Model C-707CHX

Hey there
Usually there is a lttle hole in the front panel near the eject button. All you need to is insert a pin into the hole and just pull open the trey.
The button in the little hole releases the locking mechanism so the trey can move out freely.

Please rate solution

Best regards

Phillips cdr 785 trays wont open

Hi....
Are there small round access holes in the underside of the player (usually with a turn symbol near it)?
Most mfgs put "panic holes" under the unit to get out stuck CDs when the thing wont work right
Also,how old is the unit?
Do you use it alot??
