Ink System has Failed. Unable to Copy, receive faxes, or print. Refer to printer documentation.

Turn power off,then on again.
The above error has appeared on on C7180 Printer, I have removed the ink cartridges, turned the unit off and restarted it without the cartridges in and still receive the same message.

Why dont you try uninstalling this form your PC/laptop and reinstalling it again. This should help restart the printer again. Good luck and thanks for using Fixya
The "Ink System Failure" error is causes by air in the ink feed tubes. We have a step by step guide to purging the air from the feed tubes posted on our web site. Go to our site at: www.ccl-la.com , click on the printer repair link and then the HP link. Follow the steps and you should be back printing in no time at all.
