Question about IBM ThinkPad T23 2647 Notebook
How can I open my notebook to replace my hard drive?
You don't actually have to have the top cover off the laptop. Just remove the screw on the bottom of the Infrared Port (as you're looking at the laptop as in use, the bottm left front corner) and just carefully pry the IR port out away from the case. The harddrive slides right out.

Take the very large screw out located at the bottom of the system. If you are looking at the system like you are typing on it, it is located on the left side. Once the screw is out, here is the real trick, the top cover has to be up before you can pull it out!!!!
